Personal Interests Jaime joined Northwest Pediatric Center in October 2006 after graduating a year prior from one of the nation's top Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs. Jaime decided to become a nurse and a nurse practitioner while teaching health seminars in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa. Seeing the intense physical and educational needs of the Liberian refugees there filled her with a desire to meet those needs, both at home and abroad.

After finishing nursing school, Jaime worked with children first at a pediatric office in Manhattan, and then in the Seattle area with medically fragile children, many of whom had traumatic brain injuries, leaving them unable to be cared for at home.
While in college, Jaime spent two summers in Côte d’Ivoire working with Liberian refugees teaching health seminars, leading Bible studies, and working with the people on their farms. Since becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner, Jaime has been involved with a ministry in Kodera, Kenya where a partnership between the local church and Pine Lake Covenant Church in Sammamish has started a medical clinic, hospice care, and a school in a small and forgotten community. On her most recent trip, she worked in the clinic and with young mothers. She was able to bring her husband, Joel, who built a playground for the new school. Jaime also enjoyed being a part of Northwest Pediatric Center’s first mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
Jaime and her husband Joel added little Henry Charles to their family in the fall of 2008.
