Personal Interests
Dana has been with Northwest Pediatric Center since 2002. Prior to completing her Masters Degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitionership, she gained extensive pediatric experience working as a staff nurse in the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh organ transplant unit and as a home health nurse caring for chronically and terminally ill children. She also completed a graduate student fellowship relating to interdisciplinary management of children with developmental disabilities.

A lifelong city dweller, Dana is excited to be in the Northwest, where she can indulge her passion for the outdoors, including sea kayaking, snowshoeing, backpacking, hiking, photography, and photojournalism  Her latest endeavor is mountaineering and in the summer of 2008, she summitted Mt. Rainier and Mt. Hood.

Dana's medical missions experience includes trips to Guatemala, Senegal, Cambodia, and the Dominican Republic, where she provided healthcare to children in isolated rural and poor urban neighborhoods. She has also volunteered in Mexico with Casas por Cristo and been involved with Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society, and the South American Missionary Society. She enjoys music and has utilized her talents in worship ministry.  Most recently, she travelled to India with the Tronie Foundation, serving as a photojournalist.
